What
is the World Suicidology Net? It is the Suicidologists' Net which
gathers people and organizations through electronic mail
that interested in suicide's prevention and people who have
expressed their will to belong to the it.
The members
of the organisation come from any country of the world.
The
permanent headquarters is in Bayamo, Cuba.
Objectives
1.- Put
together all those who are interested in the prevention of suicide using
the facilities given by The Internet.
2.- Give
information about this matter and it's prevention in order to be used for
training in the region/area.
3.-
Exchange scientific information between the members of this net.
4.- Allow
the exposition of clinical cases and contribute to their solution
by reference and off-sites advices.
5.-
Carry out online-courses.
6.- Give
and receive information about events such as seminars,
conferences and any other activity on suicide and suicide's prevention
around the countries in which the net is settled.
7.- Organise
in situ trainings courses according to each country's
possibilities.
The
members of the WSN can be individual or groups (organizations,
associations, etc.)
